Greetings and blessings,

I was happy to have received greetings from you through our friend R. Avraham Chayim Block. I was especially happy to hear that you were able to arrange that the washing of hands would be carried out as it should. We see again how correct is the adage of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ   “We can rest assured that activity will never go unrewarded.” When a Jew truly desires something, G‑d helps that his desire will be carried out.

I reckon that this will give you the strength and the disposition to use every opportunity to act on behalf of Yiddishkeit. And having an effect on another person serves as a medium for blessing and success in those matters which one lacks himself. For G‑d does not remain a debtor and pays many times more in everything that one needs.

I would be happy to hear good news from you from time to time, whether about material matters or spiritual ones.

With blessings for a chasimah and a g’mar chasimah tovah for you and for your entire family,

Rabbi Menachem Schneerson
